Though Pandit Rambal is his minister, he was also a very close friend of the king, who liked Pandit Rambal most for his wit and wisdom, as a result of which they frequently had witty and humorous exchanges between them.
Birbal`s close friendship with Akbar earned him many enemies. More precisely the other ministers in the court were very envious of Birbal.
Tenali Raman’s situation was not different.
Rambal too had friends who were envious in his properity. Many tricks were played to out wit Rambal, but never met with any success.
Chaturbnal was their leader.
